These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the wpimpactmap.com website and the Depenova Impact Map software supplied by:

WP Impact Map is the trading brand of the above sole proprietor. Depenova Impact Map is the product name. Neither is a separate legal entity.

2. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms govern the wpimpactmap.com website, the Free edition of Depenova Impact Map, the Depenova Impact Map Pro software licence supplied by the Developer, related update and support entitlements, and the relationship between the Developer and users of the software.

Paid checkout transactions are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. The purchase transaction with Lemon Squeezy is also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s Buyer Terms presented during checkout. These Terms do not replace mandatory rights granted to consumers by applicable law.

By downloading, installing, activating, purchasing or using Depenova Impact Map, you agree to the parts of these Terms that apply to your use. If you do not agree, do not use the software or related paid services.

3. The Product

3.1 Depenova Impact Map Free

Depenova Impact Map Free is a WordPress plugin designed to help website owners, administrators and developers identify technical relationships between WordPress components and understand the potential impact of changes. Features may include component inventory, dependency and impact analysis, confidence scoring, evidence, content-reference analysis, scan history and review workflows.

The Free edition may be distributed through WordPress.org or other authorised channels and is provided under the open-source licence stated in the plugin package.

3.2 Depenova Impact Map Pro

Depenova Impact Map Pro is a commercial add-on for the Free plugin. The Pro edition extends the Free edition with commercial functionality that may include runtime observation, before/after comparisons, maintenance baselines, advanced evidence views, component watchlists, commercial licence administration, premium updates and related workflow enhancements. The functionality included in the version purchased is described on the current product page and in the applicable release notes.

Only functionality described as included in the current commercial release forms part of the purchased product. Future roadmap items or separately announced features are not part of the purchase unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Technical Requirements

Depenova Impact Map is designed for self-hosted WordPress installations that meet the minimum WordPress and PHP requirements stated in the relevant plugin version.

The customer is responsible for maintaining:

• a compatible WordPress installation;
• a supported PHP version;
• appropriate hosting resources;
• administrator access;
• working backups;
• site security and recovery procedures;
• compatibility testing appropriate to the customer’s environment.

No WordPress plugin can guarantee compatibility with every theme, plugin, hosting stack or custom implementation.

5. Free Software Licence

The Depenova Impact Map Free plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2+), as stated in the plugin package.

Your rights to copy, modify and redistribute GPL-licensed code are governed by the GPL. Nothing in these Terms is intended to reduce rights granted by the applicable open-source licence.

6. Pro Software Licence and One-Site Entitlement

Depenova Impact Map Pro code is distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later), as stated in the plugin package.

The commercial subscription provides additional contractual entitlements such as access to the official Pro download, a commercial licence key, licence validation, premium update delivery and support associated with the purchased plan.

Unless the product page states otherwise, the standard Pro plan is intended for activation on one WordPress website at a time. A licence key or entitlement must not be shared publicly or used to obtain update/support access for installations outside the purchased plan.

Expiry or cancellation of a commercial subscription does not revoke rights already granted under the GPL to a copy of the software already received. However, official premium updates, commercial support, licence-controlled services and entitlement validation may cease or become unavailable after the paid entitlement ends.

7. Price, Billing and Merchant of Record

The standard Depenova Impact Map Pro offer is currently intended as an annual subscription. The applicable price, billing currency, tax and plan details are displayed at checkout before payment. Where the product page displays €59/year for one site, this is the base subscription price before any tax that the Merchant of Record may be required to add for the customer’s location.

Lemon Squeezy acts as Merchant of Record. This means Lemon Squeezy processes the checkout transaction, charges the payment method, handles applicable indirect taxes, issues transaction documentation and manages subscription billing under its Buyer Terms.

8. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Paid subscriptions automatically renew for another billing period unless cancelled before renewal in accordance with the checkout terms and the available Lemon Squeezy subscription-management process.

The customer can manage or request cancellation of the subscription using the Lemon Squeezy customer/subscription tools made available for the order or by following the instructions contained in the purchase confirmation.

Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal charge and does not retroactively cancel the period that has already been paid for, except where applicable law or the Merchant of Record’s refund decision requires otherwise.

If a renewal price changes, any notice or consent required by applicable law or by Lemon Squeezy’s billing process will apply.

9. Delivery of Digital Software

Depenova Impact Map Pro is digital software. After successful purchase and processing, access to the relevant download and/or licence entitlement is provided electronically.

The customer is responsible for providing a valid email address and accurate checkout information so that order confirmation and entitlement information can be delivered.

10. Consumer Withdrawal Rights for Digital Content

Where mandatory consumer law grants a right of withdrawal for distance contracts, that right applies in accordance with the law applicable to the consumer.

For digital content supplied immediately, the applicable checkout process may ask the consumer to expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that the statutory right of withdrawal may be lost once supply/download begins, where the legal conditions for such loss are satisfied.

The Lemon Squeezy checkout and Buyer Terms govern the payment transaction and the Merchant of Record’s implementation of the checkout process. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

11. Refunds

Because Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record, payment refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy in accordance with its Buyer Terms, applicable law and the circumstances of the request.

Customers seeking a refund should use the support or order channels provided in the Lemon Squeezy transaction confirmation. We may assist with product-related information where needed, but the payment refund itself is processed through the Merchant of Record.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory refund, remedy, conformity or consumer-protection right that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Updates

An active Pro entitlement may provide access to official premium software updates during the paid subscription period.

Updates may include bug fixes, compatibility improvements, security-related changes, new features, modified features or removal of obsolete functionality. We may change technical requirements where reasonably necessary for security, compatibility or continued development.

Customers should maintain backups and, where appropriate, test updates in a staging environment before applying them to a production website.

13. Support

Commercial support is available to customers with an active entitlement according to the support scope published for the relevant plan.

Support may include reasonable assistance with installation, activation, configuration and confirmed plugin defects. Unless expressly included, support does not include:

• general WordPress administration;
• custom development;
• repair of unrelated third-party plugins or themes;
• server administration;
• malware removal or incident response;
• guaranteed compatibility engineering for every custom stack.

Support is provided through the contact channels identified on the website. Public WordPress.org support forums should not be used to post private licence keys, private customer information or confidential site logs.

14. Runtime Observation and Local Technical Data

Where available, Pro runtime observation is intended to collect technical evidence locally on the customer’s WordPress installation. The feature is designed to assist technical decision-making and does not constitute security monitoring, penetration testing, legal compliance auditing or a guarantee that a proposed update or change is safe.

The customer remains responsible for determining whether runtime observation is appropriate for the website and for configuring retention and privacy information applicable to that website.

15. Impact Scores, Evidence and Analysis Limitations

Depenova Impact Map provides technical analysis based on information that can be detected from the WordPress installation and the plugin’s analysis methods. Results may include inferred relationships, confidence levels, evidence records and “Needs Review” states.

The software may produce false positives, false negatives, incomplete relationships or results that require human review. A low impact score does not guarantee that a component can be removed, disabled or updated without consequence. A high impact score does not mean that a change will necessarily cause a failure.

16. Acceptable Use

You must not use Depenova Impact Map or related services to:

• violate applicable law;
• gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
• distribute malware or intentionally harmful code;
• abuse licensing or update infrastructure;
• publish or share another customer’s private licence key;
• interfere with the availability or security of the Developer’s services.

17. Intellectual Property and Branding

The GPL governs rights in the software code to which the GPL applies. The WP Impact Map and Depenova Impact Map names, logos, visual identity, website copy, documentation, screenshots and other brand materials may be protected separately by copyright, trade mark or other applicable rights and are not automatically licensed for unrestricted commercial branding use merely because the plugin code is GPL-licensed.

You must not falsely represent yourself as the official developer, seller or authorised representative of Depenova Impact Map or WP Impact Map.

18. Third-Party Software and Services

Depenova Impact Map operates within WordPress and may interact with third-party WordPress components and external services. WordPress, Lemon Squeezy, hosting providers and third-party plugins/themes are governed by their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for changes, outages, defects or policies of independent third-party services, although we will use reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility with supported environments where appropriate.

19. Availability and Product Changes

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the website, support infrastructure or future versions of the software where reasonably necessary. We will not intentionally remove mandatory consumer rights or retroactively alter GPL rights in software copies already supplied.

For paid subscriptions, material changes affecting the paid entitlement will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any commitments made for the current paid period.

20. Warranty and Statutory Rights

The software is provided with the warranties and remedies required by applicable mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights relating to digital content where applicable.

Subject to those mandatory rights, software is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every environment or capable of detecting every dependency or operational relationship.

21. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

For customers acting in the course of a business or profession, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity or loss of data arising from use of the software where such loss could reasonably have been avoided by maintaining appropriate backups, staging and operational controls.

For business customers, to the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate contractual liability relating to a paid subscription will not exceed the fees actually paid for that subscription during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not permit such a limitation.

Mandatory consumer remedies remain unaffected.

22. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• using the software lawfully;
• maintaining your own website security and backups;
• reviewing scan results before acting on them;
• protecting licence keys and administrator credentials;
• complying with privacy and data-protection obligations applicable to your own website;
• ensuring that you have authority to install and operate the plugin on the relevant website.

23. Privacy

Personal data processed by the Developer is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on wpimpactmap.com published on this website.

Cookie and consent information is provided through the website’s Complianz consent interface and Cookie Policy.

Please include sufficient information to identify the issue and, where relevant, the order reference. For payment, billing or refund matters handled by the Merchant of Record, you may also need to use the Lemon Squeezy order/support process.

25. Governing Law

These Terms, insofar as they govern the licence and relationship between the Developer and the user, are governed by the laws of Hungary, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to a consumer in their country of habitual residence.

If you are a consumer, nothing in this clause deprives you of protections that cannot be waived by agreement under applicable law.

For business customers, disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the competent courts determined under applicable procedural law, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction rules.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced only to the extent necessary to achieve a lawful result closest to its intended purpose.

27. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the product, commercial model, service providers or applicable law changes. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.

Changes will not retroactively remove rights already granted under the GPL or mandatory rights that cannot legally be waived. Where a material contractual change requires advance notice or consent, we will provide it as required by applicable law.
